Robert Withers, President and CEO of M1 Capital Corp., is a highly accomplished real estate finance professional with a superlative, 30-year track record of providing creative solutions for his clients in the real estate finance industry. Major media outlets, including The New York Times, NBC, The Wall Street Journal, CNN, Westchester's Journal News, and local news radio stations turn to Robert for his opinions, insights and bylined articles. He's also a respected writer, penning a regular blog, The Equity Strategist, that's popular among real estate and mortgage professionals.

Robert launched his first mortgage brokerage company Lending Concepts Inc. from the den of his parents’ home in 1986 and by 1996 had grown it into one of New York's most-successful mortgage brokerages. He went on to own and operate two multifaceted full-service mortgage companies Lending Concepts and Withers & Company, ultimately selling LCI in 1999 and W&C in 2009.

In 2012, he established M1 Capital Corp., which focuses on real estate financing solutions for the commercial mortgage market.

In addition to overseeing M1 Capital Corp., Robert currently serves as an HGAR Real Estate Finance instructor and is a board member at Mount St. Michael Academy. He was also a former board member of both the Boys and Girls Clubs of New York and Partnership for a Better Westchester.

Robert lives in White Plains and is the father of four beautiful children.
